Our comparison now says that the European BD releases have the "Theatrical version". I just watched the UK release and it seems to include the Unrated version based on this link:

These different versions can be confusing, since sometimes there are different shots and angles so the running time can be very similar.
Anyone has other releases/regions?

I'll check my Aussie version when I get home, can't remember if it had the UK ratings on the disc. It's been in my collection for ages and is still in the "to do" pile

Another thing is the opening scene where there should be (I assume) some "burned-in" captions. Instead, we got subtitles.

Australian BD confirmed identical to the UK disc.

Thanks, updated. I assume that e.g. the opening is the same as in the UK version (no "burned-in" captions)?

It's exactly the same disc, the label has BBFC and Irish ratings on it. In fact, it doesn't even have the Australian rating, just the UK ones

Also, the opening captions appeared on my player as a simulation of the original burned-in captions, not as regular subtitles. In fact I had to check to make sure they weren't burned-in since they blended in to the background so well. Still seems odd to have done them that way since the only language option on the disc is English anyway.
