Curse of Crimson Altar/Island of Terror DONE

Post by Tim_Rogerson »

Hi

Anyone got these yet. There is a review on Amazon.co.uk claiming that Odeon have released the uncut version of Crimson altar with the opening whipping scene intact (actually only about 10s of extra stuff). This was cut in the DD DVD release and the German EMS release had the footage as an extra only.

Also - Island of Terror where forthcoming Blu Ray. The UK DD DVD is cut (CU of Peter Cushing's hand being chopped off) although the German DVD release was uncut.

I know a couple of folks have confirmed Altar is uncut on the Blu-ray.com forums, but no reviews yet it seems.

No worries. If anyone here is likely to pick it up, it'll be either Nigel_Badnell or Paul_Lewis

But not at the current price — Odeon blu-rays are horribly expensive, by comparison, Network are a steal, esp. on their own website.
