Team America: World Police (2004) UPDATED
Does anyone know how the US and UK BDs stack up against each other?

As far as I know there is no US BD for Team America: World Police. But UK release is bare bones, has only theatrical cut and some reviews say that it has only "adequate picture and sound quality".

I've not heard of any US release either.. yeah it's barebones, but I don't think the shitting/pissing during the puppet sex scene added anything other than "ok that's just gross"... but omitting the extras is criminal. Transfer is perfectly fine, nice and sharp and the sound effects aren't hugely impressive but it's down to how the film was made, it's supposed to feel cheap and crappy. I saw it in the cinema and the explosions sounded weak and cartoony there too. If the sound was amazing it would contradict the aesthetic of the film

Silly me, for thinking there was a US BD! I wasn't looking closely enough at the actual copies for sale on US Amazon... Anyhoo, thanks for posting it up.
The full specs of the German BD are listed at the bottom of that Caps-A-Holic comparison and it's clearly identical to the UK and Oz BDs; you may/may not want to add it. It's also been released in Italy, Spain and Japan but as far as I can ascertain they're all identical theatrical vanillas too.

Went ahead and added the editions from the other countries. Yes, all are the same barebones R-rated cut disc. Maybe Kim Jong-Un didn't want the unrated version to come out?
