Hacked and work lost

Post by Samuel_Scott »

For those of you who noticed, we were hacked on Tuesday night for the second time in a month. We are looking into better security, but have unfortunately lost all work from the last 48 hours. Please bare with us as we try to fix this and apologies for any conveniences caused.
I work away a lot but I will reply to all PM's within a few days so please have patience!

This is not the only forum that gets hacked occasionally (unfortunately).

What exactly was lost? Some posts? No big deal then.

All work done on the main site and forums on the 2nd and 3rd of February (comparisons, corrections, reviews). We managed to use Google Cache to add the majority back yesterday.

Well, it's mostly unpleasant indeed. But I'm glad you've recovered almost all the data! :-D
