54. Inherent Vice (Theater)
Some scenes are a bit too long, but this is overall a very funny movie, with lots of characters and a great cast - 7/10.
55. Kon-Tiki (Broadcast)
Story of a scientist who decides to prove a theory of his by tempting a dangerous travel on a sea raft, with friends. This was rather entertaining - 6/10.
56. 96 Heures (Broadcast)
French thriller in which an ex-con decides to kidnap the policer who sent him to jail, in order to learn who was responsible for his arrest. Standard story but good performances by Gérard Lanvin and Niels Arestrup - 6/10.
57. All is Lost (Broadcast)
Really great. I always loved those stories of survival, as well as movies with few dialogues. Redford is impressive in this movie… even more when you realize he was 77 when it was shot! An excellent surprise - 8/10.

Salo or The 120 Days of Sodom
Seems the NZ OFLC finally decided to let it through. Nasty piece of work that it is. Turns out the print I saw in the cinema about 15 years ago was missing the credits and the first scene

Arctic Heat (First viewing on YouTube) - 5/10
Just re-watched this after 20-odd years! The reason I watched this again was because I remembered it as a good action thriller, but having seen it again I can say that the plot is ridiculous and so is the US title "Born American", which should have been "Bored Americans" instead. The only saving grace of the film is the pretty solid action scenes. This is Renny Harlin's directorial debut and Mike Norris, Chuck Norris' son, stars. Thanks to YouTube, I've deleted this from my wishlist.

Re: What did you watch today?
Wild Bill is quite good indeed, well above your typical British hooligan/council flat drama.
Watched The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies last night. It feels somewhat incomplete, everything after the battle just wraps up far too quickly and gives no closure to anyone other than Bilbo. Hopefully Jackson expands the last part by a good 20 to 30 minutes in the Extended Edition to make it feel like less of a rush-job. I'd also like to see the funeral for Thorin, Kili and Fili added in.
