The slightly contradictory specifications of the three seasons do indicate that they have previously been published separately.
CDON.com Norway lists some separate releases. For instance, Series 2 is also available with Blu-rays (combo pack). However, the “Series 1–3” DVD pack is the only one that I have at hand.
I don’t know if the separate issue of Series 1 incorrectly claims 5.1-channel audio. It may very well be that the separate issue has correct information on the package. I only know what the joint release states.
Same for Series 2. I don’t know if the separate release actually states Region 2 only and 5.1-channel audio. It might have correct information. (Now it’s listed as R2, but it should be R0. It’s 2-disc Keep Case.)
The extras do spell out the word F.u.c.k but for some reason it is censored (!) in my forum posts as “f***”. Are we so modest nowadays?
Series 3 has also 5.1-channel audio, and it’s Region-free (R0). I don’t know if the separate release has any incorrect information on the package.
Please note that Series 3 has also Swedish subtitles but the joint edition package does not mention them. This season has an additional DD 2.0 stereo audio track as well.
