?

Also, is it this release: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Mysteriou ... ay/110456/

If so, it is unfortunately a boot. There is a big problem with Spanish companies bootlegging and being able to sell their wares widely via Amazon etc. I had discussions with Twilight Time and Sony to make sure we removed a bunch of Spanish releases which were just direct rips of theirs.

Yes, it's the release you mentioned. Very surprised that bootlegged movies are officially available on Amazon.es... I also bought "Demetrius & The Gladiators" from Feel Films. Also a pirated edition? The "official" distributor is Research Entertainment - their english website boasts to have aquired ip from Sony Spain... http://www.resen.es/#!about-us/cvgq

I also have the Twilight Times releases of both of those movies, wanted to see the differnces. Now it all makes sense... I will write Amazon and Resen, they should explain themselves.

Yes. It has been very unfortunate. There has been a few grey companies too. But even American bootleggers have managed to get their wares into stores over the years. It happens, and at some point or another, we all get stung! Releases from Twilight Time seem to be particular targets from these Spanish outfits.

In fact, here are bitrate graphs for this release and the Twilight Time one they have knocked off:

Thanks Christian!
