The runtime of the film theatrically is 97 minutes, as is other Blu-rays. Is the UK version cut by 4 or 5 minutes?

It's defenitely 92:50 on both releases. Don't know if something is cut out. Strangely the BBFC states that the releases are not cut - but give also different lenths: http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/new-town-2008

Probably both 1080/50i rather than 1080p. Do you have BD Info to check?

I have the UK DVD some where. I'll try and check that shortly and add it to the database and find out the run time.

Unbelievable: Yes, it's just 1080i as you supposed... according to BDInfo (1080i/25fps). On the BD covers of both versions it has the "Full HD 1080" logo, no mention about 1080i.
