- There is no menu option to turn off the subtitles. It is possible to turn them off in VLC but not in the Apple DVD Player, so it might be possible to turn them off using a DVD player's remote control. This also applies to the Making Of. But it's not possible to remove the subtitles from the interviews or the trailer. The Blu-Ray comparison says "burnt in" which may not be exactly correct.
- The Blu-Ray comparison says the Language is French, but to be more precise it's French and Persian.

Re: The Past (2013) R2 UK
Added the DVD, thanks!
With the subtitles on the UK Blu-ray, coming from the information on the review at DVDBeaver, it says "Burned-in", while the Digital Fix review says "Fixed" - which could mean burned in or forced. I left it as "Burned-in" unless someone has definitive proof that it isn't.
Remember the thing with the Arrow release of "Departures"? The DVD had optional subs while the Blu-ray had burned-in subs (confirmed by my own copy).
