What is the audio codec and how many channels?

The Outtakes - are the bad words censored?

james,

"English Dolby Digital 2.0 dual mono only?"
yes, only English.

"Audio description"
VLC player, played on the PC, gives this:
Codec: A52 Audio (aka AC3)(a52)
Channels: Stereo
Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
Birate: 192 kb/s

despite VLC stating the audio as stereo, it is actually dual mono. i checked the audio and it has the same sound waveform in both left and right channels. i hear the same sounds on my left and right speakers.

just to be clear, this audio track has the audio as spoken by the actors and in addition has the "description audio" to help blind/partially sighted people.

"The Outtakes"
yes, the swear words are censored.

hope this answers your questions.

james,

sorry, don't mean to add to your headaches, but there are 2 small issues:

1) 2009 Interviews (39:01
missing the closing bracket.

2) Easter eggs: On disc three, highlight the big frame in the main menu and press enter to access a "Footage of the real Fawlty Towers after it burned down" featurette (2:30).
it is not the "big frame".
it is the tray Manuel is holding.
copy the text from the R2 Scandinavia easter eggs version.

thanks.
