Any idea what is missing from the cut versions?

Also, for the second release is the 2.0 audio mono, stereo, or surround?
I work away a lot but I will reply to all PM's within a few days so please have patience!

mono sound

Any idea what is missing from the cut versions?

According to sources like this http://www.ofdb.de/ it is action and violence.
This movie si frequently shown at TV without all the gore and violence.

http://www.schnittberichte.com/schnittb ... hp?ID=2772

*According to this source
*They most violent scenes. Like some of the goriest scenes cut
*Some action and reference to the nazies is gone
*Also different music score
Scenes like this are "The scene where one guy has his eyes gouged out by some bloodthirsty crabs"

Also from other source real animal killing scenes are cut
Like a Jaguar is killed, crocodiles are killed and so on

http://www.filmflausen.de/Seiten/treasu ... amazon.htm

http://www.dtm.at/Reviews/Review-Geheim ... manten.htm

*According to this one. Import story line is cut too.

Some source is saying the USA is like the TV-version. The goriest scene is cut

I cant 100% confirm this. Not seen the movie yet

Also which can explain the short german version West German VHS version was cut by ca. 24 minutes and uses a different score

I am afraid it is worse

I have compared some of VCL with the italian shock and it seems like most scenes is longer in the italian shock version. It seems like VCL is cut it almost every scene dialogue and storyline

For instances:
Boat scenen in the beginning. The american is talking to 2 guys about finding the indian guld on the boat. A guy they are calling Gringo ending of that scene is missing (02:02)

Indiana girls fighting while the foreign are watching. MIssing extended close-up on that fights and the foreigns is talking more (extended scene) (00:20)
A white man with lots of indian wife is talking to 2 guys (missing 00:20)

and so on.. It seems like every scene in the VCL is shorten

So do you have the German version too Asmund? The Dutch version is cut as above then (not uncut as originally thought)?

Thanks! 8)

Thanks Asmund. I forgot to ask about the audio 2.0 tracks on the Dutch release, but I managed to confirm elsewhere they are mono! 8)

The excellent cut details are linked through to the reference forum!
