167 - Schneider vs Bax (Broadcast)
Dutch "thriller" movie, with dark and funny sides. Really pleasant and surprising - 7/10.
168 - Strictly Criminal (Broadcast)
Violent "mob" movie : a good role for Johnny Depp - 7/10.
169 - Le Fils de Saul (Broadcast)
Frenetic : this is Auschwitz as you never imagined it - 8/10.
170 - In the Heart of the Sea (Broadcast)
All right adaptation of Moby Dick - 6/10.
171 - Baxter (Broadcast)
French movie about a thinking dog. One of the few fantastic French movies really worthwhile. A classic - 8/10.
172 - Ex Machina (Broadcast)
A variation about A.I. : interesting - 7/10.
173 - Eva (Broadcast)
Another variation about A.I., with a sensitive touch - 7/10.
174 - The Lobster (Broadcast)
Very orginal sci-fi movie about a world in which single people must find a mate, not to be turned onto a animal - 8/10.
175 - Automata (Broadcast)
A third variation about A.I. just as interesting as the other two - 7/10.
176 - No Escape (Broadcast)
Effective action movie set during the riots in Thailand - 6/10.
177 - Taj Mahal (Broadcast)
Really not convinced by this "huis-clos"... - 4/10.
178 - Les Cowboys (Broadcast)
Story os a young girl, raised by modern cow-boys, and getting caught into islamism. Interesting - 6/10.
179 - La Grande Illusion (French Blu)
Old French classic about an escape from a German prisoners camp suring WWI - 8/10.
180 - The Raid 2 (French Blu)
Rhythm is much slower than in the first movie, some spectacular action scenes though - 7/10.
181 - 8 1/2 (US Blu)
First watching of this Italian classic : I'm not really fond of Fellini, but this one is probably my favorite : a clever mix between fantasy and reality - 8/10.
182 - American Crime Story #1 (Broadcast)
The renewal of the trial series. Great actors - 8/10.
183 - Geometria (Short) (US Blu)
Shot directed by a young Del Toro : pretty funny ! 6/10.

184 - Hacksaw Ridge (Theater)
Disappointed by this new Gibson movie : too much faith and good feelings... - 5/10.
185 - Le Client (Theater)
Another wonderful movie from iranian director Asghar Farhadi - 8/10.
186 - The Incredible Hulk (French Blu)
Very efficient, despite a few special effects not fully convincing - 7/10.
187 - The Big Short (Broadcast)
A clever way to understand the "subprime" crisis, with great performances by Christian Bale and Steve Carell - 8/10.
188 - The Beast (Broadcast)
One of the darkest thriller I've ever seen, and it's coming from Belgium ! 8/10.
189 - 99 Homes (Broadcast)
A different angle on the subprimes crisis : original, this is worth your time - 7/10.
190 - Suburra (Broadcast)
An efficient italian "mob" movie - 7/10.
191 - Out of Time (Broadcast)
Classic story, but better than what I expected - 6/10.
192 - Creed (Broadcast)
Always more or less the same story, but I can't help it, I (almost) always enjoy those 'Rocky' movies - 7/10.
193 - Doctor Frankenstein (Broadcast)
Another good suprise, it looks like a (good) Tim Burton movie - 7/10.
194 - Play Misty for Me (US Blu)
Rediscovery of this first movie from Eastwood : all right, but far from its masterpieces - 6/10.
195 - Head-On (French DVD)
I think I had already watched it more than 10 years ago. Memorable - 8/10.
196 - N.W.A. Straight Outta Compton (Broadcast)
To be honest, I didn't know anything about N.W.A.before watching this - 7/10.
197 - Le Convoi (Broadcast)
French suspense/action flick in chich drivers try to convey drug from Spain to France : a missed shot - 4/10.
198 - Battle for Sevastopol (Broadcast)
War movie about a young russian woman becoming an elite sniper - 6/10.
199 - Taking of the Tiger Mountain (French Blu)
Not fully convinced by the latest Tsui Hark action movie.... 5/10.
200 - Birdman (Broadcast)
Wonderful directing and unforgettable performance from Michael Keaton 8/10.
201 - Cronos (US Blu)
Del Toro's more than promising first film - 7/10.
202 - Cat People (US Blu)
Old classic, still great - 8/10.
203 - Dreams (US Blu)
Another blatant proof of Kurosawa's genius - 8/10.

The Sicilian Cross a.k.a. Street People (First viewing, YouTube) – 6/10
Roger Moore plays Ulysses, a half-British half-Sicilian lawyer and mafia counselor who is assigned to track down the perpetrators of a heroin theft in San Francisco. With the aid of his long-time friend and partner, a race-car driver (Stacy Keach), he gets involved in a search that will reveal a shocking mystery.
Genre: Crime, Mystery, Action
Worth watching? The plot is contrived. Watch it only if you are a Roger Moore fan.
Worth re-watching? Only if you are a die-hard Roger Moore fan.
Bottom-line? Skip it.

Loophole (1981) (First viewing) – 6/10
An unemployed American architect (Martin Sheen) gets entangled in a daring daylight heist of London’s biggest bank vaults with a gang of criminals led by a debonair Englishman (Albert Finney).
Susannah York, Jonathan Pryce and Colin Blakely co-star.
I remember this from my saw-it-at-the-cinema days. Didn't see it though. Could have been a good thriller.
Genre: Crime, Thriller
Worth watching? Once, if you are curious.
Worth re-watching? No
Bottom-line? Watch it but don't expect a nail-biter.

Band of the Hand – 7/10
Five selected juvenile criminals are sent for survival training in the Miami Everglades under the command of a Vietnam veteran named Joe. Upon successfully “graduating” the program, the five boys are placed in a drug-ridden neighborhood for community service. However, this attempt leads to an armed conflict with a gang and their boss that rule the streets. When their mentor is killed, the boys - with their newly acquired "battle skills" - decide to band together and retaliate at all costs.
Lauren Holly, James Remar and Lawrence Fishburne co-star. Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky and Hutch TV series, The Running Man) directs.
I watched it on video back in the days. It’s an 80's teenage boy’s action romp.
Genre: Action, Crime, Drama
Worth watching? Yes
Worth re-watching? Depends on how much you like it.
Bottom-line? Buy the blu-ray strictly for a trip down memory lane.
