OK. But please note that the Scandinavian release doesn’t have the “Introduction to the Original Version (0:58)”.

To make things even more confused... The Original Version on my disc opens with an introduction and this plays “seamlessly” before the Original Version itself begins, and this introduction is included in the total runtime of that version (80:52).

If the other releases have their specifications correctly, this means that

1. they have another, separate introduction (0:58) and
2. they also open the Original Version similarly with an introduction or, on those releases, the same introduction is only separate, and therefore they have a slightly longer version of the Original Version present (without any introduction).

So, are there one or two introductions around?

Whysoblu review does not mention the intro and gives an 80:34 runtime for the original cut. (US BD)
(The review has a favoritely funny quote: The Gallows: Surviving the Noose (13:20) – An annoying featurette where the directors congratulate themselves on filming a terrible movie.)

DVDmg review mentions a 58 second intro and gives a 79:54 runtime for the original cut. (US BD)

DVDTalk review also says 79:54 - no mention of intro.

ODFB entry for the German/Japanese/UK discs gives the same specs as the Scandinavian in runtime, but no mention of the intro.

So not much help from online users and got no concrete info on the US release.
I'm going with the 79 minute runtime + 58 second intro for the US release but for the Scandinavian, European releases listing the 80 minute runtime + intro together.
