There is currently no comparison of "The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe" (1979 Animated) DVD or Blu-Ray etc.
This one might be a little complicated. My own research has found a couple of alternate released versions in different countries with various formats + alternate voice-dubbing. IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079474/alt ... t_ql_trv_5 says the following:
A version was made for US TV with American voices replacing the British voices. That's why the cast list here has two performers listed for most characters.
SPECIAL EDITION: In 2006, this TV movie was released on a Special Edition DVD with audio commentary, interviews, a deleted scene, and sketches and artwork. However, the film was presented in a wide screen format with the top and bottom of the original picture removed.

Cannot find any info of a "widescreen" special edition of this film. Wonder where that info came from?
