It looks like the entry Åsmund posted (and according to the IMDb link, the German release also) has two episodes, each of about 93 mins NTSC / 89 mins PAL. Given the original miniseries is 3x 90 mins NTSC, I'm guessing all three episodes were cut / reworked into two episodes (who knows why). Bizarre amount of material removed...

So for this Scandinavian release is it a condensed version of combining the 3 episodes into 2 episodes with a shorter runtime? Or is this just episodes 1 and 2 with the final episode missing?

They haven't been added but the US and UK releases both have all three parts.
My question is with the Scandinavian release, does the series have no ending?

Wikipedia has a synopsis. Does the ending happen in the Scandinavian release or is it unfinished ending with the episode 2 ending? Or is it a reedited shorter version?

You'd hope if it wasn't uncut they'd release an edited version and not just stop 2/3 of the way through - I think the Scandinavian timings are longer than the first two parts of the original, so that would follow on...
