In Daddy and the Muscle Academy, the “Interview with Tom of Finland” should read: “Tom’s unedited interview rushes”. It’s not an additional interview but the original shoot (complete “dailies”) from which the final film was cut.

Re: Tom of Finland duplicate
Are English subtitles for the Finnish dialogue in the film or just the extras?
Thanks for the info on the "interview" (as it is labeled on the Kino disc). I'm assuming that the forty minutes of deleted scenes on the US DVD were edited down from these rusehes.

I’m afraid I cannot answer to this question. Does it refer to Tom of Finland or DatMA? I don’t own the latter Blu-ray so I don’t know its specifications.Eric_Cotenas wrote:Are English subtitles for the Finnish dialogue in the film or just the extras?

I was referring to the film Tom of Finland. Does the Finnish dialogue have English subtitles or just the Finnish extras?

Are you referring to the Scandinavian edition? (I don’t have the American disc.) The Scandinavian release doesn’t have English subtitles for the main feature.Eric_Cotenas wrote:I was referring to the film Tom of Finland. Does the Finnish dialogue have English subtitles or just the Finnish extras?
The extras have burnt-in English subtitles (and no other subtitle options), when Finnish is spoken. When English is spoken in the extras, there are no subtitles at all.
