I think Christian includes them to make it so we can just copy and paste rather than fill in the gaps.

Well american director for a American film what other language the commentary could be? Do Germans dub commentary tracks sometimes?
And we have started to include subtitle info for commentary tracks but I didn't know that we also listed the absence of subtitles too.
