The US Shout BD mistakenly has mono audio, as reported in several places:

Re: The Eagle Has Landed (1976)
Thank you. Also, going by the covers, the UK and Australian releases are also mono.

The Blu-ray.com thread above has a poster who's emphatic about the UK BD being in stereo (posts 22 and 24). I've read various other threads on the US and UK discs where folk picked them apart, but seen nothing about the UK being mono too. It could well be just another typo, à la its runtime. The Carlton 2-DVD set has a similar typo claiming stereo to be mono. I'm convinced but you can always ask our members to confirm, like we did with From Dusk Till Dawn. The Oz BD's bound to be an exact port of the UK.
It's perhaps worth noting that the film's original sound mix was 4 and 6-track stereo, though mono prints did go out for theatres not yet adequately equipped. So a deffo demerit for all the BDs and DVDs that are lacking it...
Don't forget to correct the Shout DVD: in the other thread I linked, someone checked their BD, DVD and digital version, and they're all mono.

With the UK and Australian Blu-rays, I can't say from hearing since I don't have them but they clearly say "mono" on the back of the cases. The German on says 2.0 but no info as stereo or mono. The only thing we can go on is OFDB which lists the disc as stereo, but again, maybe someone will correct us on that in the future if wrong.
