Are the Swedish subtitles for the English portions only?

I re-checked. There is only one Swedish subtitle track on the disc, and it reproduces the Swedish-language dialogue and translates the English one.

I might add that the image is slightly windowboxed (and there is a lot of old footage in 4:3 ratio within that frame). The interviews are indeed black-and-white.
