The DVD runtime is very close to the Blu-ray. Is it a NTSC to PAL transfer?

not sure how can i tell that? I am not an expert in french either

An NTSC to PAL transfer is when they take an NTSC master and not convert it properly, and so "ghost" images appear such as this:



Things will be blurry in scenes with a lot of movemet. If you check frame by frame, usually every 5 frames or so should have a ghosting effect if it's a NTSC to PAL transfer (or a PAL to NTSC transfer)

no i cant see any ghosting. Those extra seems to be interview with actors in the movie

Are you sure the blu is 1080p and the DVD is PAL?
