Title: The Wages of Fear, etc
Country: France
Region: B
Releasing Studio: TF1 Vidéo
Case Type: Illustrated 52-page Digibook with "Tracing the History of the Film" essay by Pascal Mérigeau
Aspect Ratio: 1.37:1
Codec: (MVC, AVC MPEG-4, VC-1, MPEG-2) AVC MPEG-4
Picture: (1080p/1080i 60/1080i 50 etc) 1080p
Soundtracks: French/English/Spanish/German/Italian/Russian DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 mono
Subtitles (are they optional?): French, yes
Cuts: (and if you know it, precise run time) No (2:33:01)
Commentaries:
Extras:
Perspectives on The Wages of Fear with Jean Ollé-Laprune and Samuel Blumenfeld (19:09, 1080i)
The Extraordinary Ambition of Henri-Georges Clouzot with Xavier Giannoli (20:58, 1080i)
At the Source of the Original Shock with Bong Joon-ho (17:01, 1080i)

Original trailer (3:23, 1080p)
Notes: 2017 4K restoration from the original negative. Package includes DVD, which is also available separately (ASIN B07KH8D298). Can't find exact spec but its existence should at least be noted in the DVD comparison. It only contains the Perspectives featurette and trailer as extras.
Easter Eggs: None
Amazon ASIN (UK, French, German, USA releases only): B073SJVBHT
Source: http://www.dvdclassik.com/test/blu-ray- ... -tf1-video / http://retro-hd.com/tests/blu-ray/2540- ... -peur.html

The BFI BD should also be noted as the new restoration. The BFI DVD should also be added to the comparison as the current winner; I can supply specs if you don't have it.

The 4K restoration has also been released on Blu-ray in Japan by IVC (Japanese subtitles only).

I can't find its exact running time, but several French sources (including the DVDClassik link above) say the currently listed 2001 French TF1 Vidéo DVD contains the full length original French theatrical version.

Only the previous French DVD (it appears) and the restored releases are uncut; all other releases, including the Criterions, should be noted as being cut. They're the edited international version.

Can anyone supply the missing runtimes for the previous French and Oz DVDs?

Add Caps link to both comparisons and update DVDBeaver links.

Specs for the BFI DVD would be helpful!

For the French subtitles on the TF1 Blu-ray, are they for the non-French portions only?

Blimey, that were quick - well done!

Some minor things:

The BFI booklet is 24 pages.
It's worth mentioning that all the BFI, TF1 and Criterion BD extras are in HD.
Not critical, but the Beaver links still go to the old page.
The BFI DVD actually has just over 5 min of restored footage. ;)

The BFI doesn't count the first two and last two pages in numbering so leaving it at 20 pages.
As for the BFI extras, the review states what are 1080p or 1080i. As for Criterion, they always encode their extras in HD, just not sure what is 1080i or 1080p.
Removed about the BFI DVD being 4 minutes longer and updated the DVDBeaver link.

Nice one. Lastly, just noticed you mistakenly added the Japanese IVC 4K BD note to the DVD comparision. There have been several DVDs of the international edit, but none of the restored version.
