Re: The House of Insane Women /Passion Plantation Code red

The Code Red DVD entry says [b}No known cuts - but apparently suffers from a damaged first reel[/b].
Does the Blu-ray have a damaged first reel?

Eric, I think you said you know something.
Paul, you entered the DVD note, is there picture damage, or missing footage, or both?

First 10min these errors in the reel:

(0:23) without sound in 5 seconds

At (5:23) there is one scene the image is freezing 1-2 seconds

The first reel was put back together out of order on the DVD transfer. I had yet to hear about the state of the Blu-ray although I would not be surprised if Code Red did not fix it.

It is added, but are the specfics of the damage more important than the general note of the faults of the first reel.

The film's two unofficial VHS releases stateside came from a different print.
