Is this an "Audio Descriptive" track or a "Voice Over" track?James_Armstrong wrote: Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Polish Audio Descriptive Dolby Digital 5.1

And another thing, resurrecting an old thread...

The US DigiCom TV DVD seems to be 4 minutes short. Is this a cut version or did you input the time wrong?
(Your obsession with this movie doesn't cease to amaze me! Hopefully someone will release a good version of it someday!)

My mistake, it's a Voice Over track.James-Masaki_Ryan wrote:Is this an "Audio Descriptive" track or a "Voice Over" track?
Actually, the time is correct, but it's the PAL speed-up running time in NTSC format.James-Masaki_Ryan wrote:And another thing, resurrecting an old thread...

I hope someone releases a good version of it someday, too. Maybe next year in 2020 (the 155th anniversary of the first Alice book's publication) or in 2022 (the 150th anniversary of the completion of the two Alice books and the 50th anniversary of this film version's premiere at the Odeon Marble Arch in the U.K.), it will be color-corrected and restored frame-by-frame with print damage, dirt, dust, and flicker digitally removed using film restoration software and released on a Blu-ray/DVD box set. And maybe there will be a post-converted 3D version, like with March of the Wooden Soldiers (1934) and The Wizard of Oz (1939), and later a 4K UHD version. One can only imagine...James-Masaki_Ryan wrote:(Your obsession with this movie doesn't cease to amaze me! Hopefully someone will release a good version of it someday!)

Slightly off topic...James_Armstrong wrote: at the end of the film, after it fades to black, the unused end title music plays.
I would call this “exit music” (cf. 2001: Space Odyssey, which also has an overture).

Ryan, the aspect ratio for the R2 Polish DVD is listed as blank but should be 1.33:1 and the TV system for the R2 Polish DVD is listed as NTSC but should be PAL, and the "Overall" section says it is PAL, making it confusing.
