Despite the USA Arts Magic & Arrow Video (BD/DVD) releases of Takashi Miike's Black Society Trilogy (Shinjuku Triad Society, Rainy Dog, Ley Lines) having commentaries by the SAME person (ie Tom Mes), they ARE DIFFERENT.

This is where I found out the info & it's from someone's comment on Facebook:

I was about to get rid of the DVD of Miike's Black Society Trilogy because it had commentaries by the same person as the Bluray. But it turns out he did different commentaries on both so I kept them.
