PAL-NTSC, NTSC-PAL transfers
Does anyone know of any decent videos that show the results of PAL-NTSC and NTSC-PAL transfers? Ones with a brief explanation or even just comparison clips would be great. It's for an article and as an ongoing resource. Am just trying to educate the masses!

See my letter to Universal Pictures about Ring and Psycho: http://www.mlang.name/shame/universal-2.html
...and to Pan Vision about Spirited Away and The Magnificent Ambersons: http://www.mlang.name/shame/panvision.html
These are in Finnish but there are sample screenshots. All show the effect of NTSC→PAL conversion without speed correction (i.e., film material is treated as if it were video material).
Search the site for more examples.

Re: PAL-NTSC, NTSC-PAL transfers
Hi Markus, thanks for the reply but I really was after video material. I hoped someone might have put together a few minutes-long demo with an explanatory voiceover or similar. I've been using my own and others' screenshots up until now; as awful as yours are, showing the problem in motion is much more effective.
Great letters though! Did you get a decent reply? I think I already know the answer... I reckon the best way to deal with stuff like that nowadays is 'out' them via their own social media or their websites, if they have comments enabled.
