John Ford Film Collection UPDATED
Just noticed the comparisons for Sergeant Rutledge and Cheyenne Autumn say they're anamorphic, but DVDBeaver says they're letterboxed: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDReview ... ection.htm
I don't own either disc, so can't say for sure.

Re: Non-anamorphic?
I don't see anywhere in there that says non-anamorphic. And the screencaps are 1.78:1 framed/

Re: Non-anamorphic?
It says both films are letterboxed in the section just underneath the Amazon ads. He always uses that term to denote non-anamorphic. If a DVD is anamorphic he says so, and usually adds the logo too.
As to your second point, that site also always crops letterboxed widescreen caps and displays them full width. Here's an example of both: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDCompare/terminator.htm.

Ah, cool! Someone should tell him, but mistakes are hardly ever corrected over there.

Seems he did so (16x9 Enhanced and Anamorphic):Brent_Reid wrote:It says both films are letterboxed in the section just underneath the Amazon ads. He always uses that term to denote non-anamorphic. If a DVD is anamorphic he says so, and usually adds the logo too.

Re: Non-anamorphic?
Eh, how did we both miss that?! Regardless, it still contradicts itself with the "letterboxed" designation. I'll corroborate independently next time...

Re: Non-anamorphic?
Since the US box was missing timings and had other wrong specs, this was a good opportunity to update them. Thanks!
