Arizona Raiders (1965) ADDED
An update to the R1 Sony DVD which I own.
The print on the DVD appears to be an extended US TV version of the film - it runs 97m rather than the 89m given by the UK BBFC to the theatrical release. The extra footage is the dire 7m prologue in which a newspaper reporter stands in front of various papers in his office and talks to the camera on the subject of Quantrill. This is interminable and also full of factual errors. The film proper begins with the voice over of the shots of Quantrill and his gang riding along.
The cinema print is shown occasionally on UK cable channels and doesn't have this sequence.

Re: Arizona Raiders (1965) - Update
A Sony R1 release is not in our database yet. Moving to Your Comparisons, so please update with full specs.
Also, please don't write "update" in the title. It's close to "Updated" making it confusing at first glance.

I see the RO. I thought he was saying a R1 release, a previous Sony release?

I think the R0 one is the only one available in the US. Unless Tim knows otherwise.

OK. Keeping the thread open so Tim can give us the runtime and any other specs.

I don't have this (yet), but note it's also available from Sony in the UK and Umbrella in Oz. Then there are the usual Euro boots: one apiece from Italy and Spain, and two from Germany.

Hi
I have finally checked this. It is a Sony US R0 DVD part of the 'Columbia Classics' collection.
The total running time is 96m53s of which 7m30s is the added TV prologue immediately after the opening credits. As far as I can gather it is uncut and includes the footage cut for the UK theatrical release in 1965 (two close-ups of a man with cactus pine needles embedded in his face).
There is also a theatrical trailer which runs 2m12s.
Film is in OAR 2.35:1 ratio as is the trailer.
