Re: What did you watch today?
Caught up on some of the Best Picture Oscar films.
The Favorite - This is excellent, loved every minute of this film, I really like Yorgos Lanthimos' style and direction, the performances where all amazing especially Olivia Colman - her Oscar win for Best Actress was incredibly well deserved.
Green Book - This was an enjoyable film, reverse Driving Miss Daisy, feel good drama, not sure if it really deserved Best Picture.
A Star is Born - Also a solid film, Bradley Cooper did a spectacular job in his first directorial effort, I was annoyed by his voice, but performances all around were excellent, Lady Gaga, Sam Elliot, and I though Andrew Dice Clay nailed it as Gaga's dad. The ending was especially powerful.
I have yet to see Vice and Roma, the only two remaining Best Picture nominees to finally watch.

Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

All The Devil's Men (First viewing) - 5.5/10
An ex-SEAL turned bounty hunter (Milo Gibson) who specializes in tracking down terrorists is hired to pursue and wipe out a rogue CIA operative in London.
Feels like a straight-to-video action thriller. Partly recommended for the shootout scenes, otherwise it's bland and forgettable.
