Malpertuis (1971) - running times CLOSED

The entry for this one gives the same running times in both Pal and NTSC which does not seem correct (unless both disks are NTSC or Pal).

Yes - but the same running time is given for both the supposedly Pal and NTSC disks so either both are in NTSC or both are in Pal (rather than one in Pal and one in NTSC) or one of the running times is wrong.

Both are correct. standards conversions, either PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL retain the running time of the source while introducing conversion artefacts.

As an example, an NTSC->PAL transfer can cause big issues, as they often insert one frame twice every second which gives the NTSC run time but on a PAL disc, which causes a horrific combing effect. One such example is the UK DVD of Wish I Was Here;
