This article goes into forensic detail about all the different versions of the film and all its major home video releases:

It's clearly written by someone who's an expert on the film and actually owns the releases discussed. From the section "A. Discs Released" onwards, he describes their many idiosyncrasies and technical flaws, some major, especially with the BDs. None of the faults are listed on DVDcompare in either comparison. I was going to sum them up for adding as footnotes, but it might be easier to simply link the article as is, with a note along the lines of, "These releases all have various differing transfers and technical flaws which are too numerous to detail here. Please see this excellent article: ..."

Also forgot to say that a faulty pressing note needs adding to the Image BD. From the article:

"The first pressing of this disc had a non-intuitive menu where you could only select the versions of the prints you wanted to watch by selecting the score attached to that version. To change to another version you had to eject and reinsert the disc or jump ahead to the end. Also, all stereo scores were output in mono and the Carter score was out of sync for Reel 1. The ballet dancers in the first ballet sequence also appear to be moving in slow motion in both the 24 and 20fps versions. A replacement disc fixes the stereo/mono issue and uses a new, more intuitive and technically impressive menu."
