Just a quick note about Chinese subtitles: there is no such thing as Mandarin tradional / simplified subtitles. It's either traditional or simplified Chinese. Depending on region, one or the other is preferred. In mainland China, natives read / write simplified Chinese. In Taiwan, traditional Chinese is preferred. Both are Mandarin speaking territories. Traditional Chinese is also used in Hong Kong where Cantonese is spoken. That is why both are usually offered on Hong Kong video releases.

The runtime seems short, like a PAL to NTSC transfer.
I see 103/104 minutes for NTSC discs, and 99 minutes for PAL discs.

Any idea if this "Remastered" disc uses a PAL to NTSC transfer?

It does seem to be a PAL-NTSC transfer. My Korean dvd is around 104 minutes. I would have added that disc as well but I dont know the releasing studio as both the case and disc bears no mention of one.
