Hi there,
http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=17737
There are some mistakes in relation to the 88 Films Blu-ray entry for 'Crime Story'.
1. The subtitles are not listed right (there's five sets, not two). See my comments: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php? ... tcount=289
2. The Teddy Chen interview is 480 resolution. I assume it's progressive along with the Bruce Law interview (and possibly Kirk Wong), because it no longer has the video-look (they were converted from the original PAL source, which was interlaced).
3. The Singapore scenes are 480p and contain removable subtitles.
4. From a new 2K master (the only release to feature it so far). All the other releases in the comparison are based on an upscale.
Source: I have the disc (though unable to check on a computer, only a standard Blu-ray player) and was involved in the production.
Note: For anything that I cannot verify, I would recommend checking with someone who has the disc. I stand open to correction, but I suspect the specification is based on a Blu-ray.com review (with added assumptions from Rewind) which wasn't entirely accurate (I wrote to the author requesting corrections).
Thanks!

A Caps-a-Holic entry exists (not mentioned in the comparison): https://caps-a-holic.com/c_list.php?c=521

Re: Crime Story UPDATED
Thanks for amending, but a few things remain:
I would mark the interviews as progressive (not interlaced); the deleted scenes certainly are. Typo: "4800"i
I would say 88 is the winner (not a draw) because of the genuine HD transfer; nothing is mentioned about the others being based on upscaled masters.
The Singapore scenes still say ‘burned in subtitles’ when they are removable (the interviews have burned in subtitles, yes).

Thanks, Eric!
The Singapore scenes are marked as 480i (they are progressive).
Also: The Hong Kong trailer has removable English subtitles (subtitles not mentioned at all).
