Re: Nemesis (Blu-ray) (1993) Blu-ray
So the theatrical cut is on the DVD only and the Japanese cut is on the Blu-ray with 1.78:1 and 2.35:1 aspect ratios?Åsmund_Utvik wrote: Cuts: No cuts Includes the theatrical cut (92:29) (480i), extended Japanese cut 1080P (96:17)

Blu-ray A Collector's Edition America- MVD Visual - No cuts - Includes the theatrical cut (92:29), director's cut (87:44), and extended Japanese cut (96:17).
This is wrong. There is NOT 3 cut on the movie. There is director`s cut (92:29), (there is no 87:44 cut) and japanese
The same on the DVD
So on both dvd and BD there is 2 cut director`s cut and the japanese cut
Also the director cut on BD have FORCED commentary

Re: Nemesis (Blu-ray) (1993) Blu-ray FAO Asmund
I'm confused, so please clarify these points:
DISC ONE (Blu-ray) has "2.0 Director's Cut" with forced commentary only, and the "Japanese Cut" with burned-in Japanese subtitles.
Reviews and packaging say there are both 2.35:1 and 1.78:1 ratios on the Blu-ray. Is this for the 2.0 Director's Cut or the Japanese Cut or both?
For the "2.0 Director's Cut" and "Japanese Cut" on the DVD, what are the aspect ratios and runtimes?

In your first post you said there is a theatrical cut and Japanese cut, but now you say there is no theatrical cut?Åsmund_Utvik wrote: Cuts: No cuts Includes the theatrical cut (92:29) (480i), extended Japanese cut 1080P (96:17)
↓ Is this on the left side the Blu-ray or DVD menu?

Re: Nemesis (Blu-ray) (1993) Blu-ray FAO Asmund
So the Japanese cut on the Blu-ray, it is remastered in 1.78:1 and 2.35:1, but is it still censored? The Japanese cut (from the Laserdisc, which I assume is the transfer is on the DVD) has some extended shots, but has blurring for nudity. Is this still censored on the Blu-ray?
Could you take a screenshot of the Blu-ray menu?

Please fix this with the info with Blu-ray runtimes of each version and the DVD runtimes of each version.Cuts: No cuts Includes the theatrical cut (92:29) (480i), extended Japanese cut 1080P (96:17)

The blu-ray seems uncensored but the DVD is censored.

In 2010, director Pyun announced his intention to re-release the film in a new, alternate cut that featured enhanced computer effects.[7]

Says Pyun on his official Facebook page:
Work has started on re-mastering Nemesis into a version closer to what I had intended. Version 2.0 will be different in many ways including story plot line and the backstory on Alex Rain. It will have an entirely different opening scene and an ending closer to what I had intended. It links more smoothly into Nemesis 2. This will be ready possibly by the end of January for shipping.

On the Blu-ray menu, does it state “Japanese Cut - 2.35:1” and “Japanese Cut - 1.78:1”?

Re: Nemesis (Blu-ray) (1993) Blu-ray FAO Asmund
Because the theatrical cut in NTSC is about 96 minutes, and the Japanese cut is also about 96 minutes, with some extended scenes, such as the ending. Did you confirm the extended scenes like the extended ending is on the Blu-ray?Åsmund_Utvik wrote:it says movie and then you choice between 1.78:1 and 2.35:1 and it is 96min so i have to be the japanese.
