There was an earlier UK DVD by Optimum, ASIN B000RWDY22.

There is a mistake in three of the versions on the Blu-Ray page: "Interview with director Jacques Becker" should be "Interview with Jean Becker". Jean Becker is the son of Jacques Becker, who died in 1960. To confirm: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Touchez- ... 56/#Review . https://ssl.ofdb.de/view.php?page=fassu ... vid=427565 for the German version does say "Jacques Becker - Regie (13:23 Min.)" but I think it must be wrong because (i) the duration is exactly the same as the Jean Becker interview (ii) the packaging is very close to that of my UK DVD so I guess it's pretty much the same release cross-platformed and localised.

Also, the specs for the French Blu-Ray seem to be incorrect. According to http://www.dvdclassik.com/test/blu-ray- ... tudiocanal it doesn't have any extras at all.

Almost certainly whatever was cut from the BBFC for the theatrical release would have been restored for the DVD/Blu Ray as they would have gone back to the uncut French master. You could always email the BBFC and ask them.
