Re: Bruiser (2000) Blu-ray
Does the commentary have German subtitles?
Are the subtitles for the film optional?

Re: Bruiser (2000) Blu-ray FAO Darrel
1. strictly speaking I should have said the picture format is 50Hz (but that is effectively 25fps)
2. commentary is in English with no subtitles (N.B the commentary track is not listed in the extras menu, but is listed in the audio menu)
3. subtitles for the movie are German (optional).
In fact there are 3 options for subtitles: Off / 1 German / 2 German, but as far as I can tell, the "2 German" subtitles option is just the same as "Off". I ran the movie for a few minutes and couldn't see any subtitles, even though there was dialogue on all of the English / German / commentary tracks. It is possible that the "2 German" option has occasional subtitles, e.g. if there is some non-German dialogue somewhere on the German soundtrack, or there is some onscreen English text that is translated, but I wouldn't be able to tell that except by watching the entire movie, which I haven't done yet.
4. confirmed as Region B only

Yes, most likely the second German subtitle track is for signs and text for the German dub track. Unless it is listed as so in the menu, we don't need to list it.
Thank you.
Thank you.
