Cries in the Night AKA Funeral Home (1980) (dvd) UPDATED

There is some additional info that needs to be added and slightly corrected for the

R2 Germany - CMV Laservision entry of the film

for quick reference it is actually a split combo dvd with the films the final Terror and Funeral home (aka cries in the night).
which on my dvd case is actually the main film and the final terror listed as a bonus film

1.Angst (aka the final terror) features both German and English audio tracks not just the German. It should also be noted that this is the uncut version of the film with the full (longer) sex scene followed by the full uncut knife death that is shortened in the US versions of the film

2. For Cries in the night they offer two versions of the film. The main one with German audio only but it does use a print
with the English title screen of Cries in the night (as well as English credits)

3. The bonus version (listed on this site as the extended version, but on the disc itself listed as alternate English version), is actually the US version of the film using the title of Funeral home and in English with no German

The website here just list German as the only language on this combo disc and it also reflects that in the final conclusion section which would need to be corrected and probably put this disc as the winner

To be frank unless the German cries in the night offers some alternate shots its only a rough minute difference between that and the US print. They could have just synced the German
audio up to the US version and it would have saved disc space and upped the video quality. That is again unless it does have some alternate shots which if I get off my lazy rear can truly compare doing a side by side on the pc to see whats what

in English with no German, meaning the title credit is in English? Or do you mean the audio is in English with no German subtitles? Please give us more details.

If it only has a dub track it is not considered a winner by any means.

Now finished & english soundtrack has been added to the main film extended version (FUNERAL HOME). My copy arrived today.
