Subtitles (optional): German (only for the German Theatrical Cut)
Are these full subtitles? Or just text and signs captions?

Also, looking at a BDinfo scan of the US theatrical cut, it seems like there are German subtitles. Can you double check your disc?

The "normal" Theatrical Cut has full optional German subtitles (and English/German audio). The "German Theatrical Cut" (which is listed in the menu under "Extras" is in German only and has no optional subtitles.
