Ipcress File (The) (1965) UPDATED
The listed 2008 German DVD does not have a booklet as stated. It's a repackage of Koch's original 2003 DVD, which isn't listed on Amazon. The first release did have a 16-page booklet.
Missing (joint) disc details:
Region 0, runtime 103:05
- Original English trailer (01:02)
Text biographies:
~ Michael Caine (actor)
~ Harry Saltzman (producer)
~ Sidney J. Furie (director)
~ John Barry (composer)
- Photo gallery (12 images)
- DVD credits (1 page)
- Deadlier Than the Male English trailer (2:50)
- The "2" English trailer (2:21)
The two Network DVDs' notes:
- User marlan reports that it is obviously framed a little too tightly in some places. (Thanks for users Sunny_Srinivas and marlan for this info.)
- It's a shame that the framing is definitely 'off' on the Network release as it's the best release for extras.
Should be amended to:
- The transfer is slightly horizontally stretched.
The ITV BD ad is for the Oz release. It should link to ASIN B001DOM03C.
[BD] Also released in:
- US by Kino Lorber
- Germany by Koch Media
- France by Elephant Films
- Australia by Beyond Home Entertainment

Cheers James. The ITV BD ad is still for the Oz BD and the German DVD's region hasn't been changed to 0.

Thank you, and thanks for adding the original German DVD. Although as I said earlier, it's actually from 2003 not 2004 as listed.

Re: Ipcress File (The) (1965) UPDATED
Sorry to note this too late, but back in 2008, I provided some screenshots from the UK and the Scandinavian DVD.
The following image pair shows that a part of the right edge is missing in the UK DVD:

All files are here: http://www.dvdplaza.fi/media/albums/339/
In my opinion it is incorrect to state that the transfer be horizontally stratched. It is framed too tightly but not necessarily streched.

Beaver's caps show the Network transfer is horizontally stretched - in addition to being cropped on all sides. The cropping could be added to the footnote, or just flag it up generally and advise users to check out Beaver.
