Canada doesn’t use 50Hz signals so it would seem strange if a Canadian disc used 1080i 50Hz, unless this set was made for the foreign market. Can you not do a BDinfo scan and show us?

They are in the traditional font but I’m not sure if Mandarin or Cantonese. They should just be listed as “Chinese (Traditional)” to be safe.

According to these, "Kung Fu Zombie" is 1080i 60Hz. "Chess Boxing Matrix" is 1080i 50Hz.

BD-Rs are darker in color, almost a dark purple disc.

I was able to get in touch with Justin from Gold Ninja Video (and he is a fan of DVDCompare). He wasn't aware the disc had 1080i 50Hz content, but he also confirmed that it is in fact 1080i 50Hz for the bonus film.
