Re: DVD R0 - Germany - Il mostro di Firenze AKA The Monster
What is the problem with that? 100 minutes for the international cut, 4% PAL speedup makes 96 minutes.1. The shorter version is the Italian original release, not international theatrical cut. So this seems to be wrong: "R2 Giallo Edition #006 Germany- FilmArt - No cuts - international release version (96:32 PAL)"

They named it like this in the menu: "Italienische Originalfassung - 94 Min." which means the original Italian cut, yes. The other cut is named "Internationale Kinoversion 101 Min." which means the international cut.

So the menu says 94 minutes, but the runtime is (96:20)?Christian_Bütikofer wrote:They named it like this in the menu: "Italienische Originalfassung - 94 Min." which means the original Italian cut, yes. The other cut is named "Internationale Kinoversion 101 Min." which means the international cut.

Nope, the italian runtime on the blu-ray is 94:32, the international runtime on the blu-ray is 100:42.
The cut on the DVD seems to be the international version (96:20).

The only difference between is this one and the one in our database is, this one doesn't have the extra to see the three murder scenes?Christian_Bütikofer wrote:1. New entry:

The MVW release only offers German audio, the aspect ratio is wrong and the transfer is also way different.

Re: DVD R0 - Germany - Il mostro di Firenze AKA The Monster
It's exactly this one. If the aspect ratio is 1.56:1, 1,51:1 or 1.33:1 I can't say for sure, but it's defenitely not 1.66:1 like in the FilmArt release.
As "Extras" there are three parts from the movie, I didn't list them because I thought not to be relevant since there is nothing "extra" about it, but here they are, I filled them in in the entry:
Kill Scene 1: (3:07)
Kill Scene 2: (3:35)
Kill Scene 3: (4:21)

Hi James, I don't quite get, what you mean, it seems
: There is one new entry I'd like to add: the German DVD from Madison which is not listed yet. And the corrections are for the Blu-ray and DVD from FilmArt: the booklet should be mentioned. And the more detailed trailer list. And also the Region code.
. Sorry for the confusion I caused.

The "new entry" you are suggestion seems identical to what we have, unless there is a correction you'd like to make. The ASIN you listed also matches what is already there.

Re: DVD R0 - Germany - Il mostro di Firenze AKA The Monster
Now I get it: We have two entries for the same movie!
http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/f ... ?fid=32774
and
http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/f ... ?fid=48639
When I was searching with the key words "Night Ripper" I didn't realize there are two entries... In this case shouldn't they be merged?

The link to the Blu-ray in the DVD entry for the FilmArt release (http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=32774#2) is going to the offline page: http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/f ... ?fid=48638. Should be http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=32773 instead.
