I found that to to be strange that they said that, yet my player says otherwise. Will send pictures via Facebook.

Back cover does say "English Dolby Digital 2.0" but does not specify which version.
Menu state:
"English 2.0 Stereo [Uncut]"
"English 2.0 Stereo [Edited]"
"Japanese 2.0 Stereo"
Due note that "English 2.0 Stereo [Edited]" is just audio applied to the uncut Japanese version. For the Edited cut of the film, you will have to go to the "Features" menu.

Also stated in the back "English Linear PCM 2.0" and "Japanese Linear PCM 2.0".
