Dead of Night (1945) DVDs UPDATED

Post by Brent_Reid »

Missing ASINs:

US: B0000844JQ
France: B00005NEVW
Germany: B016QEZRGA
UK Optimum: B000I5XNDI, also in 4-DVD Definitive Ealing Studios Collection: Volume Two (B000I0QSRG) and 16-DVD Definitive Ealing Studios Collection (B000HEVTEK).
UK Ealing Classics DVD Collection: B0000AGVOD

The German DVD is actually from Studio Canal, as is the UK Ealing Classics DVD Collection; both currently listed studios are only the distributors.

I've long had Italy's Sinister Film marked down as 100% bootleggers but just to be sure, recently asked Studio Canal about a bunch of titles from them, this being one. They confirmed they're pirates. There are a lot of other Sinister Film releases on DVDCompare.

Thanks James but you haven't corrected the label of the UK Ealing Classics DVD Collection; at the very least it should be Studio Canal / Warner.

The Sinister Film is still up.

Thank you. FWIW, there's a copy of the Ealing Classics DVD Collection on eBay so you can see for yourself. The only thing to indicate Warner has anything to do with it is the logo on the discs themselves - alongside Studio Canal's. Everywhere else, only the latter is mentioned.

And that's why it's listed as Warner Bros.
