This review says mono. You can confirm the audio is a stereo remix?

Yes. Why else would I have made this post?
It has two channels, and playing it in ProLogic mode results in audio, including dialogue, coming from the rears.

But is there actual stereo separation? Specifically for music cues having left and right separation, characters on the left side of the frame having dialogue from the left speaker, etc? Does the packaging state "Stereo" on the back?

There are two channels.
It does not collapse into the centre speaker with Dolby Pro Logic enabled.
It i a 2.0 stereo mix.

Is it incorrectly mixed for stereo? Because it was originally mixed in mono, the Japanese Warner Archive DVD is mono, and Warner rarely if ever remix their mono movies as stereo without including the original mix. Does dialogue and effects sound "natural" with the Pro Logic settings, or is it unbalanced?

The "Il tetto" DVD from Arrow was mono but incorrectly balanced the 2 channels, so made it a fake "stereo" by mistake.

I have no idea whether it's intended to be stereo or not, I wasn't involved in its production, but the fact remains that it is.

Re: Green Fire [USA] [Warner Archive] FAO Matt
It does seem like a mono mix being incorrectly balanced in the left and right channels, leading to an unbalanced track. Labeled as "stereo" but with a note like we did with "The Swan".
