I used to have this disc and I believe the director's interview was in English. Is that correct?
As for the 2.0 track, I've never seen a "surround" track on an Artificial Eye disc, so it should be fairly certain it is stereo.

Yes, the interview is in English.
Unfortunately I don't have any way of telling whether a Dolby 2.0 track is stereo or surround, so I think it's better to say that I don't know instead of guessing or not saying anything. Based on the other releases in the comparison I agree that stereo is more likely.
I made a correction in the original post: although the packaging says the disc is R2, it's actually R0.
