- I doubt that the Australian, Dutch and UK releases have an MPEG-4 codec since they are identical to the German release with the VC-1 codec. I also suspect that Portuguese subtitles are available in those releases too.

Hi Christian,
BD Info for UK release at Caps-a-Holic confirms VC-1 codec and Portuguese subtitles. However BD Info lists only one Portuguese subtitle track, so I doubt that there is no Portuguese subtitles for the Audio Commentary track, please double-check. Japanese subtitles are listed multiple times, please double-check if Japanese subtitles are available for the Audio Commentary track. And about Portuguese subtitles: Are you sure that these are Portuguese (Brazilian) and not Portuguese (European)?
And remember to add Amazon ASIN for the German release.

edit. BD Info shows also following soundtracks:
One of these is for the Audio Commentary, what about another one?

DTS Express is used for picture-in-picture audio.

The audio commentary defenitely has optional Portuguese subtitles. My Player identifies it as "Portuguese "Brazil"". Also there are optional Japanese subtitles for the audio commentary.

But how it can be, if there is only ONE Portuguese subtitle track on disc (like a BD Info at Caps-a-Holic shows)? It has to be for the movie OR or for the audio commentary.
Can you post a screenshot of subtitle selection screen(s)?

I don't know how this is technically done, but see for yourself
: These are the first few words of Steve Sommers in his audio commentary:
and
.
If you choose "Portuguese" in the subtitles menu and for audio the commentary, you get the commentary subtitled. If you disable the audio commentary but leave Portuguese as the subtitle option, you'll get the whole movie subtitled in Portuguese
:
It's true that BD Info only shows one "Presentation Graphics" in Portuguese - but maybe it's possible to merge more than one track into one file? I know Portuguese well enough to see that there are two tracks, not just one

This is now added, thanks!
This seems to be really strange case regarding subtitles, I've never seen something like this before...
