I noticed the review of the Eureka Blu-ray [https://www.dvdcompare.net/review.php?rid=6923] a while ago and a segment in it: "while Hong Kong Legends in the UK got a 16:9 special edition that did not make it stateside via the Fox/Fortune Star deal (presumably due to potentially offensive content)."
This is incorrect for two reasons:
1. I don't believe Fox ever had a deal with Hong Kong Legends (despite the banner on some DVDs).
2. Fortune Star and Fox have never had any connection with this film (latterly it's been Mei Ah).
