The dialogue is not just in English but a mixture of English and Arrernte, a native Aboriginal language.
The UK BD has two subtitle tracks: the first subtitles and translates the Arrernte only; the second subtitles (and translates) both.
Though I can't confirm, the US and Oz BDs are likely to be similar. I doubt their listed English subs only do both languages, as that would be highly annoying to most.

Cheers, though the audio on all should be altered to English/Arrernte. There's far more Arrernte spoken than in many other dual-language films such as The Emerald Forest, which is listed as English/Portuguese.
