In the Line of Duty IV UPDATED

Although an English export version was prepared, In the Line of Duty IV: Witness was unreleased in the US and the UK and was accessible in English-friendly form only as a cropped Hong Kong laserdisc with burnt-in English and Chinese subtitles. A Hong Kong DVD in 1998 sported a letterboxed transfer with optional English subtitles and was directly ported stateside by Tai Seng featuring a non-anamorphic transfer. This was subsequently upgraded in 2003 by Twentieth Century Fox in an anamorphic transfer of the Hong Kong version which also turned up in the U.K. as part of the Hong Kong Legends line.

•'In the Line of Duty IV: Witness' = I don't know if I've ever seen material with 'Witness' mentioned (might be best to remove it).
•'featuring a non-anamorphic transfer' seems redundant (it's already been mentioned that it's letterboxed).
•The film was released on VHS in the UK circa 1990 (https://www.videocollector.co.uk/in-the ... duty/22768).
•The HKL DVD was released in 2001, featuring its own transfer (using film material provided by then-sales agent Media Asia). The Fox DVD was indeed released in 2003, but it had nothing to do with HKL's; the transfer was the HDCAM one (presumably used on the Hong Kong Blu-ray), commissioned by Fortune Star. Looks correct to me. Maybe you need to refresh your browser.

Strange, I've tried it in different browsers.

Okay.
