Doris Wishman - The Moonlight Years box set


1. runtime corrections - to be applied to the entries for ALL pages for each movie in this set, and also in the CUTS section for the 2 movies that are incorrect:

Indecent Desires - runtime 71:21
A Taste of Flesh - runtime 71:55

(it seems the runtime for Bad Girls Go to Hell was accidentally copied into these two)


2. "The Hot Month of August" - addition to the notes on the versions:

The original Greek version runtime is approx. 88min
The re-edited version runtime is approx. 75min


3. "Passion Fever" :

In a similar way to "The Hot Month of August", "Passion Fever" is a re-edited version of a Greek movie called "Pyretos" (Fever) (1965) directed by Stelios Jackson, with some scenes removed and with additional softcore scenes shot by Doris Wishman, and dubbed into English.

The original version was probably very different. According to a reviewer on IMDb, the English dub was not based on the original Greek script, but newly fabricated to fit the images.


a. The title could be updated to include "Pyretos", although I will leave this to your discretion.

b. The "Director" credit can be updated to: Stelios Jackson, Doris Wishman

c. A general note can be added regarding the two versions.
The original Greek version runtime is approx. 85min
The re-edited version runtime is approx. 52min

d. The re-edited version runtime is correct at 51:46, but it needs to be added in the CUTS section for this movie.

3. I also have the other box set that completes the AGFA / Something Weird Video Blu-ray triple collection of Doris Wishman movies: "The Daylight Years". This box set is not yet in the database. Do you want me to provide the details for it?

Ok, thanks for clarifying, yes that makes sense.

Regarding "The Daylight Years" box set, I cannot enter details into the database myself, as I don't have access, not being a moderator. All I can do is provide the details, but perhaps Eric can enter them. I will try to provide them later today. It is probably the most straightforward of the 3 box sets anyway.
