The IMDB page lists the runtime as 1 hour 30 minutes, but that may be wrong. In the audio commentary, the director said that 80 minutes is the perfect runtime for this type of film.

Is it upscaling a 1080i60 signal or a 1080p30 signal?

I'm not too knowledgeable about this. How can I tell if it's 1080i60 or 1080p30?

BTW both my tv and player are 4K. This is with 4K upscaling turned off. With 4K upscaling turned on, the upper left displays 4K/50p.

Is there a way for native playback, so there is no upscaling?

Can you tell by looking if it's displaying in 30fps or 60fps? If it's 60fps it should be incredibly smooth in motion.
